MSTelcom was present at the 3rd edition of the NewSpace Africa Conference where the best Satellite Transmission solutions were presented. The event took place in Luanda, between the 2nd and 5th of April 2024, under the coordination of the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information and Communication Technologies, Social (MINTTIC). The opening act was presided over by Mr. Minister Mário Oliveira. At this event, MSTelcom and the National Space Program Management Office (GGPEN) signed a strategic partnership agreement for terrestrial technical support and resale of Angosat2 satellite capacity. In this context, MSTelcom, due to its experience, becomes the National Operator, authorized to commercialize the service with the installation at the Funda Earth Station of a Hub with DVBS-2X Technology that will allow the distribution of services in the Ku Band. With the commercialization of these services, the company will serve not only the national market, but also other African countries that have been requesting support from GGPEN, thus contributing to the profitability of the investment made by the Angolan Executive.
In order to better present Angosat2 solutions to the market and in accordance with Customer needs, 4 packages with different capabilities were developed, namely: Angosat Base, AngoSat Gold, AngoSat Silver, AngoSat Premium. These services will serve different markets, from entrepreneurs to operators who want to resell the service.
